Namsos/Fosnes is a natural starting point for bicycle trips along the Namdal Coast (island hopping), along Kystriksveien and more daytrips or longer trips along the coastline or inland. Further information under "cycling" along Namdal Coast, in Overhalla or at Jøa under "Worth doing".
The tourist information in Namsos has four bicycles for hire. These are hybrid bikes which are suitable for both day trips and long distances.

We have 2 Diamant Oval Cut - Hybrid bicycles (2006) and 2 Joyride Touring (2000).

Double Bike-Tec cyclebags go with the new bikes. Capacity: 48 litre. You may use the top as a rucksack. Suitable for 2-3 day trips. If you have planned a long distance trip, we will recommend a bigger size. Unfortunately we cannot offer you this at the present. Must be brought or bought here in Namsos.
The two oldest bikes have two smaller single bags. Suitable for day trips.
The cycle rental includes cyclingbag, helmet, pump, and basic cycle tools. There is no wide range of helmet sizes. Two male and two female sized helmets.

Per Week: NOK 600,-
